Meet Champ! This handsome fellow was a Friends of Rescue foster when he was younger and his foster mom fell in love with him. He was a favorite and she decided to adopt him, making him a “foster failure!” Sadly, life situations changed and his owner had to move to assisted living and Champ came back into our program as a foster. He misses his mom and is looking for a new pet parent! He was happy and comfortable in his old home but is doing very well in his foster home. Champ is a very well behaved and polite young man. He is a little shy but absolutely loves humans and human interaction. He adores snuggles and pets and gets so excited he drools! If you stop petting him, he will gently reach out and tap you with his paw, then bow his head for more pets. He is very good in the house and is completely litter trained and no trouble whatsoever. After warming up he gets along with other cats and dogs, but would be happy as an only pet whose owner is home a lot, too! Since he is shy, he might do best in a home without young kids, but he loves everyone and is very sweet and sociable once he warms up. He is gorgeous, too! His beautiful gray coat is solid except for his tail, which has tabby markings. He has white paws with one leg “dipped in paint” and a neat diamond marking on his face. His green eyes are stunning and stare right into your soul. He’s a great boy who would make a very loving pet. His adoption fee is $35 and he is fostered in Huntsville, AL but isn’t picky about where he ends up. He is neutered, vaccinated, fully vetted, and microchipped.
