Big things happened for cats yesterday!
Yesterday, Friends of Rescue proudly coordinated the transport of 27 cats from all over Alabama headed to Pennsylvania. This effort was made possible through the incredible support of the BISSELL Pet Foundation. This entire transport came together in less than two weeks, proving what can happen when rescue partners rally together.
A huge thank you to the 9 amazing foster homes who opened their hearts and homes to make this transport possible. 
All of these cats are traveling with Rescue Riders Pet Transport, who will safely transport 100 cats from Alabama and Tennessee to an SPCA facility in Pennsylvania. Transport arrives today and these cats will have the opportunity to find loving forever homes.
This is teamwork. This is rescue. And this is why we do what we do.
