At Friends of Rescue, our mission is to match loving animals with their perfect forever homes. Adopting from us means bringing home a pet that has been nurtured and cared for in a loving foster environment. Here’s how you can adopt a pet from FOR:
How to Adopt:
-
Submit an Application:
Start by filling out an adoption application. This helps us get to know you and ensures we can find the best match for your lifestyle.
-
Verification Process:
After receiving your application, we will verify your veterinary information. This step ensures that all our adopters are committed to providing excellent care for their new pets.
-
Application Review:
We carefully review all applications submitted for each animal. Our goal is to find the best fit for each pet to ensure they thrive in their new home.
-
Meet and Greet:
Once we identify the best fit, you will receive an email, call or text to coordinate a meet and greet time. This allows you to meet your potential new family member and see if it’s a perfect match.
Our Foster Homes: All our animals are cared for in loving foster homes. This ensures they are well-socialized, loved, and accustomed to a home environment. At the time of adoption, you can be assured that your new pet has been:
- Dewormed
- Vaccinated
- Tested for common illnesses
- Microchipped
- Spayed or neutered
