Thank you for your interest in fostering with Friends of Rescue (FOR)! We are a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Huntsville, AL, dedicated to rescuing and rehoming as many animals as possible. All of our animals are housed in foster homes, and with every additional foster family, we can save even more lives!
To foster with FOR, you must reside in the Huntsville, AL area. This ensures that you have access to our local veterinary partners and can work closely with our team to provide the best care for your foster pet.
When you become a FOR foster, you’ll be assigned a dedicated foster liaison who will support you every step of the way. Your liaison will help you select a foster animal that fits your family’s lifestyle, coordinate veterinary appointments, and assist with adoption applications to find your foster pet their perfect FORever home.
