Every week we are contacted by 100’s of Alabamians via Facebook, email, phone calls and texts about an animal they want us to help them re-home or rescue. Our mission is to reduce the number of animals euthanized in local shelters due to overcrowding. Please understand we are a 100% volunteer foster-home based rescue. Our ability to help is determined by the number of foster homes we have and financial constraints of volunteer rescue.
As a non-profit, the financial aspect of running blood tests, vaccinations, surgeries and microchipping each animal that enters our program is a never-ending and exhausting effort that ALL of our volunteers work tirelessly to fundraise for.
If you found an animal, please contact the animal shelter in the jurisdiction it was found. This gives owners the opportunity to find their lost pet.
