This happy tail has been NINETEEN WEEKS in the making! 13 weeks of puppies in foster, and 6 weeks of pregnant poodle in foster before that. The last pup of the litter went home a few days ago and the excitement and our joy on the faces of this new family make all 19 unexpected rollercoaster weeks worth it!
Huge thanks to everybody who helped make this day possible! A MASSIVE shout out to the foster- who signed up to foster a single doodle for just a few weeks, then landed with an oodle of poodles- and to the adopters that waited patiently for Momma to be ready for her new home once we found out pups were in the picture! All parties not only accepted the additional challenge, but did so with grace, compassion, and understanding. And kudos to all the co-fosters that stepped in to help once the pups arrived! We couldn’t have asked for a stronger or better-equipped village to house Momma and bring up her surprise pups!
