When you purchase admission to this event you are not just getting an invitation to attend, you are saving a life! The price associated with admission is a donation that will allow us to walk alongside an animal as they embark on the journey of a lifetime.
“Paws in Paradise” isn’t simply a benefit event for the homeless and at-risk animals in North Alabama, it is a life-altering event.

This year, the Gala will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026 and hosted at Huntsville Marriott at the Space & Rocket Center. The theme is Paws in Paradise!
Please join us as we pawty the night away celebrating our Guests of Honor - some of our very own foster animals - and raise money to continue saving lives throughout North Alabama!

Friends of Rescue is dedicated to saving vulnerable animals and giving them a second chance at life. We rescue dogs and cats from high-risk situations, provide medical care, safe foster homes, and the love they need to thrive, and work tirelessly to match them with committed, loving families.
Our lifesaving work relies heavily on the support of our community—through fosters, volunteers, adopters, and donors—who make it possible to create brighter futures for animals in need.
Our goal is to partner with compassionate sponsors and supporters to raise the critical funds needed to rescue and care for adult dogs and cats, as well as vulnerable litters of puppies and kittens. Every dollar raised directly supports lifesaving medical care, safe foster homes, and the journey to loving forever families.
